The History and Art of MarblesThe History and Art of Marbles is now history, but below are some exciting photos of the show. The exhibit featured a sampling of Carl Fisher's marble collection including antique marbles dating back to the 1800s, vintage machine made marbles, contemporary art glass marbles from artists like Ro Purser, Kris Parke, and Sammy Hogue, and a case full of Carl's vintage mimics and contemporary art clay marbles. Large exhibit panels and numerous artifacts highlighted the colorful story of marbles from ancient times to the present. The exhibit ran from November 7, 2015 through January 17, 2016.
